Rules

indianstartupsmap.com is a public map of Indian startups and VCs. There is no feed and no algorithm. You show up if the listing is real — and approved. Rank on the map is location, not money.

How the map works

• • Pins are companies with a city (and coordinates when we have them). Clusters are just nearby companies grouped until you zoom in.
• • The grid, search, and filters only show approved listings. Pending submissions stay off the map.
• • A company page is the source of truth for description, founders, funding, and links. The map pin is a preview.

What you can submit

• • An Indian startup or VC. Name and a one-line description are required. Website, city, stage, and sector help a lot.
• • Listings should be real operating companies or funds — not jokes, personal blogs, or chat invites.
• • Adult, offensive, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate content is not allowed. If it would not belong on a public directory, it does not belong here.
• • Duplicate or fake companies will be rejected. If a company is already on the map, do not submit it again.
• • Your email is only used to follow up. It is never shown on the public map.

Categories

Pick the closest sector when you submit. Older listings were mapped onto the current list (for example Gaming → Games & Entertainment). If a company is in the wrong category, mention it when you submit or write in via the about page.

Boost and ads

• • A boost is a square tile in the sponsor bar for 7 days. The one-time price is ₹2,026. Up to 4 ads run at once.
• • Payment is via UPI, then a screenshot with the listing. Nothing goes live until it is reviewed.
• • Adult or offensive creatives are rejected. If we cancel a placement for policy reasons, you get a full refund.
• • A boost does not buy a better pin rank. It is a sponsor tile, not a map ranking.

After review

• • Approved companies are public. Clicks on the website button go to the URL you submitted.
• • We can remove a listing later if it turns out to be fake, harmful, or submitted without a good-faith connection to the company.
